“Captive Insurance – Is it the Right Option?”
As insurance markets continue to challenge us and pressures build on businesses to manage risk more effectively, captive insurance is many times a creative and efficient option. This workshop will help clarify how businesses and companies can attain cost-effective, comprehensive risk management solutions through captive insurance.

Mark’s professional journey started over 30 years ago at the Liberty Mutual Corporate Office in Boston, Massachusetts. Mark has held leadership positions in the Risk Management arena at BJ’s Wholesale Club, Home Properties of New York, Constellation Brands, and Conifer Realty. Mark is now a Senior Client Executive at Brown & Brown of New York the 5th largest insurance broker in the U.S. His captive and alternative risk financing expertise goes back decades most recently acting as director of Evergreen Insurance Company a single parent captive and wholly owned subsidiary of Conifer Realty in Rochester, New York. Mark earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of New Hampshire and Master of Business Administration from Babson College.
Tim Gallagher, Senior Vice President of Captive Resources, Inc.
Tim is a Senior Vice President with Captive Resources, LLC, the largest most experienced advisor to member-owned group captive insurance companies in the U.S. Tim's career spans 35 years with extensive expertise in both the formation and ongoing oversight of group captive insurance companies. He has been a featured speaker on the subject of group captives at numerous seminars around the country. Tim is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in Finance and Insurance.
